Human Omega is a hot and steamy werewolf romance with Alpha/omega tropes including some dark themes. Make sure you read the warnings and take them seriously. This book is not for everyone. I loved this book and have read it twice now. It’s hot and kinky, but still tender and sweet. I can tell it’s one of D.J. Heart’s earlier books because the plot is a little disjointed and the ending felt abrupt, but overall, I quite enjoyed this book.The main plot of this book revolves around Tate, an alpha werewolf, kidnapping Ian, a runaway sex worker, and turning him into a human omega. Human omegas are the lowest of the low within werewolf society, but Tate works to overcome that stereotype and soon mates Ian, elevating his status. There’s a lot of personal conflict between Tate and Ian, as well as internal conflict, but throughout the book there are some delicious and kinky sex scenes. I feel like this book should get a sequel because another couple is added to the story near the end, but their relationship deserves a book of its own.Overall, I highly recommend this book (for people who enjoy dark romances with sexy werewolves) and I know I will re-read it again in the future.
